GRR Reviews Garrett & Sunny: Sometimes Love is Funny by Peter Butler

Garrett and Sunny is a rom-com adventure where Garrett is a bit of a man-whore while Sunny is a sassy woman who won't take any guff. The book is fun to read, though setting up the boss seems a bit overzealous. But to recap...

Garrett woke up with no memory of his last 12 hours, except a woman who was definitely naked last night, as he found her belongings all over the room. It took him three days to figure out her name, Sunny, and they apparently inherited some shares in a corporation on Australia. Soon, Gary and Sunny are righting wrongs in both London and Australia, helping aborigines, getting rid of Sunny's creepy supervisor, stopping an evil fracking operation in the outbacks, and making a lot of money in the process! And obviously, they have to go back to bed to finish their business...

Bit of rom-com, bit of do-gooder, the adventures were actually kinda fun. Though it seems both of them have plenty of time to run around away from their jobs! But it's fun and made you feel good. :) Funny read.
