GRR Reviews Strike a Match (No Match for Love) by Lindzee Armstrong

Strike a Match featured an interesting meet-cute and rather unusual angst to add push-pull between the two main characters. The rest of the romance is pretty standard.

Kate lost her husband in a house fire, and it took her 18 months to get over it. What she can't tell anyone was she was emotionally abused by her husband who suffered a workplace injury and basically just sits at home, drink, smoke, and brood, and she was secretly glad that phase of her life is over, then she's suddenly regretful that she can feel relief... And this time, Kate is determined to find the right man... with a matchmaking company called Toujour. She did not expect to be matched with the firefighter from that night that gave her the bad news... Taylor. Taylor has a few problems in his personal life and more than a few dysfunctional relationships, but he was intrigued by the widow from that night, his first fire fatality, not that he ever expected to see her again. Except she doesn't want any reminders to that awful night... And Taylor needs to change her mind or lose her forever.

As I said, it's an interesting meet-cute and serendipity that brought them back together. And he was totally honest, as he recognized her first, but she didn't. But it's basically about leaving the hurt behind and embrace love, and that theme never gets old.
