GRR Reviews The Falling Kind by Randileigh Kennedy

The Falling Kind has a title that refers to the feeling of in love, but the suspense elements in the novel make no sense, and ending made even less sense. In the end, consider the rating "rounded up to 3/5"

Sydney Summers knew love can be cut short at any time, based on a personal tragedy. She chose to love fast, hard, and deep, and poured her heart out for every animal in her vet clinic. Cole Mason just wanted peace and quiet, and some tacos. But someone in town has other ideas. Cole's dad seems to be knee-deep in crime, and Cole doesn't seem to have a mom that he knew. When a bike accident put Cole in Sydney's vet clinic for some first aid, the two enjoyed each other's company. But something bad is going down in town, and Cole doesn't want Sydney involved. But to protect her, he may not have a choice...

The suspense made no sense. At the end there was APB issued for Cole and his father, and Sydney was told to get out of town. Then after a period, it all magically went away. WTF? The relationship at least works better.
