GRR Reviews Opal's Last Chance: Mail Order Bride Hist by Grace Fisher

Opal's Last Chance doesn't have much of a plot, and adding a ton of bonus content to fluff up the page count did not help.

Opal had to leave after her step-mother turned her house into living hell and then tried to send her away to live with even MORE unbearable aunt. She chose to take a chance and became a mail order bride and went west to live with a widower with a daughter. He's handsome and rugged and loving. She found love there after a little struggle in settling in. The end.

Really, that's about it. *snore*

That leaves about 93% of the book as filler with "bonus content". Grrrrrrr.

Category: Historical Western

Primary Plot: Woman fled East by becoming mail order bride, married widower with daughter, settled in after slight hiccup.

Tropes: mail order bride, widower, single parent, fish out of water, different worlds
