Rose made me very confused, as the book is quite anachronistic. This is a BDSM romance... set as a historical western!

Basically, Rose got assaulted in town, Chance punched out the drunk who was about to... well, ya know, saved her, took her back to his ranch, then basically did a BDSM session on her "because you're so reckless you have to be punished" and she's like "oh, yes, please master". All her plans to runaway forgotten because she's sexually satisified. WTF!?!!!!!!!!!
