GRR Reviews Mountains Wanted (Mountains Trilogy) by Phoebe Alexander

Mountains Wanted, while an interesting journey through love, and relationships, ultimately feels too long at 400+ pages, and you just "knew" this couple... still has issues.

Dr. Sarah Lynde teaches sociology, after putting herself through school and rose to associate professor. She is a single mother with two children by two different partners, and she's open-minded about sex. She thought she knew exactly what she wanted... Until she met Army First Sergeant James McAllister, an ROTC instructor that was attending one of her classes. Their connection was well beyond anything she'd ever experienced, and what started as "just sex" turned into friends with benefits... for he is a mountain she cannot resist climbing, even as they promised each other nothing... But Sarah can't help wanting more from James... and James... has a terrible choice to make.

There were a lot of emotional swings, and Sarah finding herself wanting more from that relationship... that wasn't really a relationship. I personally think James came across a bit bland though. But once the story got going, there sure were a lot of steamy sex. And their story isn't over. There are additional volumes to buy. Which brings up a point... The ending does feel a bit... arbitrary, but it works within the context of the story.  But at 458 pages, it felt 100 pages too long.
