GRR Reviews You Make Me (Blurred Lines) by Erin McCarthy

You Make Me has some intense emotions, but the lame darkest hour and characters driven by angst instead of love left me ambivalent.

Caitlyn grew up in a broken home. Her father was an ex-lobsterman bitter about losing his hand in an accident, and her mother was mentally unstable with bad short-term memory. They make ends meet by fostering, and Caitlyn has an endless stream of foster brothers and sisters, only two she grew close to... Tiffany, and Heath. She got so close to Heath, she gave him her v-card. Then he disappeared when he turned eighteen. She went off to college broken-hearted. Four years later, she has a frat president boyfriend in college who wanted to marry her upon graduation. Then Heath suddenly reappeared. He's out of the marines, and he's seeking revenge on those who kept them apart, as well as winning her back. But when the two goals conflict, both Caitlyn and Heath will have to make choices...

Pretty intense, the darkest hour seems to be both of them just being stubbornly prideful about refusing to apologize for doing what they chose. The emotions seem to be either love or hate, with no in-betweens.
