GRR Reviews Where Dreams Are Born by M. L. Buchman
Cassidy, one of the fast-rising food and wine critics in the nation, is fulfilling her father's last wish. He left her a dozen letters and a calendar of Northwest Lighthouses, and she promised to visit each one, one a month. Her father was a small-time vintner that put his blood and tears into the ground in Napa but didn't make it there after a family tragedy. Now she's going to understand those memories, so who is sailing this sailboat every time she goes by a lighthouse? // Russell quit his successful advertising business and took up sailing, after being burned out. He was 28th on a "most eligible list," and he has a super-model girlfriend, but she left him because he can't seem to love anyone. However, when he spotted this woman in a red coat at multiple times in the next few months always around a lighthouse, even he can't deny fate may be telling him to follow his heart...
Interesting setup. It started really slow, but the two keep passing close to each other but never quite touching was a fascinating way to handle the push-pull. Enjoyed it.
