Phillip is an ex-military man who moved to the countryside to raise his daughter Sadie in a more sedate and serene environment, and his delivery job took him to a flower shop owned by Jamie. Phillip and Jamie have a connection, then a kiss, and even more. But Phillip wears his wedding band even though his wife Tara had been dead three years (and Sadie's seven). When Phillip was confronted by Jamie's bestie about whether he was just using Jamie while still mentally married to his dead wife, how will he react?
As you can imagine, it went pretty badly, but there will be a grand gesture.
"Lexy Parker" is a collab effort between Lexy Timms and Ali Parker, two prolific writers and the writing is pretty seamless. I can't really fault any of the plots. The push-pull is quite good, and the bestie's "straight-shooter" personality was foreshadowed well enough that it did not seem out of place.
