GRR Reviews Lucky by Stella Marie Alden

Lucky, aka "Sir James", was hired to guard a pair of earrings... on an utterly bewitching and incredibly smart Callie, when her apartment was professionally tossed and safe opened. Turns out, the supergenius Callie was doing some serious research at MIT, and someone may be after her research. But was it the supposedly Russian royalty, her douche-y sorta-boyfriend, her arrogant professor, or other parties? When FBI got involved intending to prove Callie's guilt of selling secrets to the highest bidder, can Lucky save her?

Good adventure, some funny episodes, but it also rolled out the trope of "genius so good s/he has no life".
