Scarlett had enough of city life, bad bosses, and bad dates. When a chance to take over her grandpa's horse (and other assorted animals) ranch in California, she did not look back. However, wanting to do something vs. actually doing something is very different... The entire ranch is in a sorry state, and she needed help, fast. She got Hudson. // Hudson knew horses and cars. Somehow, he had always disappointed his family, even his ex-wife, who found someone else. He wandered onto the ranch, and it just so happens, there are a few cars there ready to be brought back to life. And Scarlett hired him on the spot. But is loving the boss a good idea? Is either of them willing to chance their heart ever again?
The struggle to get a ranch working again, while finding time to flirt is what kept the book fun.
