GRR Reviews The Firefighter's Slow Burn by Karen Foley

Hayden is just visiting Glacier Creek Alaska towing a trailer with her two nephews, visiting the sights. Running into Dylan, a wilderness guide and former smokejumper (forest fire fighter) is perfect... Until they encountered a forest fire while on a hike and was saved by Dylan. But Hayden's past came back to haunt her... As she was once accused of starting a barn fire that killed her father. Dylan and Hayden bonded, but when the town police chief basically accused Hayden of starting the fire, and the town turned hostile toward the newcomer, Dylan may be forced to choose sides... and Hayden will finally learn the truth about herself and what she wanted.

Not bad, but not that good, as the complications were good, but the resolution just feels somewhat lacking. And the pacing felt off. The most exciting part was the fire. The rest felt not as exciting. 3.5/5
