GRR Reviews Turbulent Intrigue by Melody Anne

Ace spent years undercover as a drug cartel pilot and dealmaker, so deep under he can't even let his family know he's safe. He finally brought down the kingpin and the cartel, but the kingpin's final gambit bomb severely wounded Ace, forcing him to go home to recuperate, which is where he met Dakota, best friend of one of his sisters-in-law, current NFL cheerleader, and pilot-wannabe. Ace knew Dakota should be off-limits, but Dakota definitely wanted Ace... Until a new threat surfaced... Someone knew Ace was the snitch that took down the cartel, and wanted to kill him for retribution, and to do that, they will go after anyone near him...

While the threat is nice and detailed, the response to it is a bit puzzling. Ace's brothers stepped up to help him, which is nice, but they are not commandos... (one's airline CEO/pilot, one's a USAF fighter pilot, and one is Coast Guard helo pilot)  But they go on rescue missions like SWAT? Hmmm? And Ace is a real bullet sponge... got shot and blown up multiple times. Eeek. Poor guy. 4/5
