GRR Review The Billionaire's Assistant by Rose Francis

Billionaire's Assistant can be described as a fairy tale, where an African-American girl out of a group home, down on her luck, living with a stripper riend, got fired due to being assaulted in her bed the night before, was noticed by a handsome rich white guy who made up a position on the spot because he wanted her. Frankly, that's creepy.

Naomi's day couldn't get any worse. She was almost assaulted in her bed the night before, and due to lack of sleep, she arrived late at work and was fired. As she fled in shame, she almost smashed into a handsome stranger, who noticed her plight and offered her a live-in personal assistant position on the spot. His name is Kevin, and he's a billionaire. Things are finally looking up for Naomi... if only she'd accept it and stop feeling sorry for herself...

The poor girl finally getting a break and a chance at real love. Fairy tale, right? All she has to do is accept it. There is no more struggle, all she has to do is... let it come to her, and only her insecurities and her doubts held her back, then she's like "okay, even if it's temporary it's worth it" and accepted it. The twist at the end was wasted, IMHO. There was really no darkest hour or a grand gesture.
