GRR Review Ready to Fall (Lovestruck Librarians) by Olivia Dade

Ready to Fall is a fun fast and romantic read from friends to love type of slow and sweet romance.

Librarian Sarah, hoping to change her luck in dating, wanted to go after a "slow" co-worker because she lives her life fast, and those who dated her, also "fast", did not work out. To do that, she needed to learn how to ride a bicycle so she can join the "bike retreat" coming in in a few months. She engaged a bicycle repair shop owner Chris, who turned out to be a lean muscle guy... and nothing like she expected, for he has an engineering degree, not a jock. Chris also found that Sarah was nothing he expected either, her dramatic exterior masked a caring personality. Soon, Sarah found Chris to the person she SHOULD be going after... but will Chris get the message?

The darkest hour was pretty bad, but the grand gesture was cute and appropriate. Both characters changed a bit. Chris realized he could love again while Sarah learned that one shouldn't change target criteria just because hunting seem to be slim pickings. The comedic dialog was right on the nose.

Category: contemporary

Primary Plot: Teacher hoping to get attention of a different teacher needed to learn how to bike, and fell for the bike shop owner instead

Overall Rating:  4/5
