GRR Review Pretending He's Mine (Caught Up in Lov by Lauren Blakely

Pretending He's Mine puts a new spin on the old "pretend love turns real" trope by making the pair an actor and a casting director.

Reeve is not getting the good roles, and his day job is cut. He tried to cozy up to the casting director, Sutton Brenner, but her only job is to be her pretend fiancee so she can get a big gig. But this pretend thing got real really fast...

My only problem is the FMC, at twenty-one seems to be a bit too young to be an accomplished casting director. Chemistry was definitely there, as they perceive each other as just the person they're looking for... if it wasn't pretense. The idea that their "client" may have reasons to "encourage" them to be a couple was definitely an interesting twist. At only 150 pages, it was a short but satisfying read.
