GRR Review San Francisco Serenade by Ginger Voight

San Francisco Serenade is a novelette with several layers of want for both main characters that works well with the trope "fling turned into love".

Sabrina is a best-selling author celebrating holidays away from an ex that broke her heart a year ago... and ran into her childhood idol rock star Vance Gale at a San Francisco hotel. Vance Gale chose to retire from rock amidst controversy and chose to be prickly against all comers, but Sabrina got past his defenses with her honesty and he felt something he hadn't felt for years. They wooed each other but neither really admit that their fling was anything more than a fling, despite promises to keep in touch.

Losing touch is not a good darkest hour until the grand gesture. Vance took inspiration from Sabrina as well, so it's not all one-sided. Together it's a good mutual admiration until they finally admitted to love.
