Rose lost her family and was taken in by her uncle's family. All she wanted was her own coffee shop and a family. Her uncle promised to lease her the perfect place, and she already put in her life savings into the place... When her uncle died unexpectedly, she has no lease, no money, and no family. Oh, and her fiancee dumped her too. Until she met Jack, the attorney. He made her an offer she couldn't refuse... A marriage of convenience for two years. But why did he make the offer? What was his deal with her ex-fiancee? Will they find true love?
The whole novel feels wordy, and the initial pages didn't really hook me. Once the plot got moving, it gets better. But it never really recovered the lost momentum early on. 3/5
